World Data Lab joins the Global Financial Health Coalition

World Data Lab has joined the Mastercard-convened Global Financial Health Coalition and will share new analysis on the road to financial health in New York and Manila.

World Data Lab (WDL) has joined the Global Financial Health Coalition, the network Mastercard convenes to close the gap between access and true financial health. WDL joined the Coalition's members at its kick-off convening on Monday 21 September, and will share new analysis on the road to financial health at the Data for Inclusive Growth Forum in New York on 25 September.
Mastercard launched the Coalition on 24 November 2025 at the ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit in Kuala Lumpur, hosted by the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. It brings together financial institutions, NGOs, telcos, and wallet providers, including DANA, GCash, TrueMoney, MTN Group Fintech, Airtel Africa, MOCO, Axian, Daviplata, and the Center for Financial Inclusion. Members work on three principles: connecting people to the right financial tools, using technology to protect them as they transact, and supporting their progress toward financial well-being.
WDL brings a way to measure progress against that gap. WDL models and forecasts how people move from vulnerability to prosperity in every country, including the spending levels at which financial access and financial health become achievable. This builds on WDL's work with Mastercard on the middle class, financial inclusion and financial health.
WDL will share new analysis on the road to financial health at the Data for Inclusive Growth Forum in New York on 25 September, and at the ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit in Manila on 11 November.
